WELL HELLO 2010!
OMG! It has been forever since I have blogged. I guess I have had bloggers block! Lucas and I are doing great! We have planned a trip to Mexico in August (very hot, but also very cheap as I think it is hurricane season. Can't beat a deal!) and we can't wait. This year has been stressful on everyone, we are happy to get away from it all and enjoy some drinks, ocean (pool for me) and romantic evenings! We will probably stumble on a dance floor somewhere too.
I am happy to add by the way that "the extremely cold natured Lucas" has dropped the fleece for the summer! Now I don't have to look at him with all my hair and Skeeter's hair all over him while bundled up on the couch.(which ironically she has my same hair color when it's on a black fleece) I swear though if it got down to 70 degrees at night he wants to put one back on. But I think the look of disgust as I am trying to figure what else I can take off to cool down, makes him not do it.
All in all nothing else has been going on with us. Hadley turned 5 and Cale turned 1 and I can't wait to meet Baby Boy Worsham on November 6!!!!
I think I will share with you some things that I like to do, things that will never get old. Here we go:

1. I love to watch "Friends"...... I have seen every episode about 10 times, but I still love to watch it before bed. Big and I, ( before we met Skeeter and Lucas) would always get in bed at 10:00, watch "Friends" , go take our bath during "Everybody Loves Raymond" then get back in bed and watch another episode of "Friends". It was our routine every week night. Oh and we would sing Jessica Simpson's "Angel" in the tub at the top of our lungs, more me singing him licking the side of the tub. I love my new life, but those are some good times~
2.I love to listen to Garth Brooks, it always brings me back to great memories. Any song any time it comes on I have a special little memory, whether it be "Shameless" before Cory's high school football games, or driving around with Josh G. in the Dodge neon with the heat on in the middle of summer and windows on lock. He thought he was very funny.
3. I am starting to love to cook, it actually kind of relaxes me and I love making things healthier for me and Lucas to eat. I now make my own dressing, no sodium and Lucas likes it better than anything we have ever had from the store.
4. I like to dance. I especially like to dance with or for Lucas. I love to act out a Britney Spears music video, or act out any Aerosmith song for him. He goes along with it and lets me do it! I am sure there is a special place in Heaven for guys like Lucas!
5. I love being in Mexico. We have gone together every year since we have been together. We always have so much fun, we always lay under the umbrellas on the beach because I become a hypochondriac about the sun and do not let us get any. He always wonders how I still get so tan but he doesn't know I am applying self tanner twice a day the whole trip! And I got a spray tan before we left Texas! We always get in one fight, normally ends with me storming off! But I honestly think if we get in one this year, it will be because I am faking a fight because it's kind of a tradition. He hasn't taken a shot since 2006, and I think that's what the first two fights were about. Come to think of it, I think I start the fight for no reason..... special place in Heaven.....When we are in Mexico I love to eat guacamole on the beach, even though it gives me an awful stomach ache everyday, I still think I have to eat it while hanging on the beach. I just love how beautiful, carefree and happy Mexico makes me feel. I am so excited to spend another trip with Lucas there.
6. I love playing Barbies with Hadley, I love that she thinks I play when she is not there. She is my favorite girl in the world!
7. I love to listen to Cale laugh! He thinks he is so funny, like I think he thinks he is funnier than I think I am. And that's a riot! I am hard to beat. But he thinks whenever people are laughing they are laughing at him! He is so fun!
8. I love to talk my problems out with Mr. Big. I do not talk them out with Skeeter, because she is Daddies girl, not only would she get offended when I start bitching about Lucas, but she also likes to stay on the couch, where Big likes to (actually it's kind of like a tick, I think he has to) follow me everywhere I go. He is a great little guy to really vent. I just feel bad that when he starts talking about his day I do not have the slightest clue what he is saying. Sorry my parents made me take Spanish, but it was only that or French at Oakridge and we live in Texas- it's more useful to know some Spanish than "bark". Big's bilingual.
9. I like to eat........ this is a problem. I wish I was one of those people who did not like to eat (or drink) . I start planning my next meal before I have even gotten my meal. Plus I am always thinking about calories, carbs, fat, sodium etc. Which makes me a miserable person to be around sometimes! Actually food is my Everest.
10. I like to grill out with Lucas and sit out on the patio with the radio on! Drinking a beer, and telling each other the same stories over and over again, because let's face it- we have been together every day for the past 6 years, so you hear the same stories but we love to listen to each other. I guess we really are soul mates. We really have only been apart twice in our time together and that was Ryan's Bach Party in Vegas and Luke's in Vegas. On a side note, I was asked to go on a work trip with Cory, he decided not to take me, I think because who were we kidding, we would kill each other, but my first panic was that I was going to be away from Lucas.......then the flight fear kicked in. I just started sweating again!
11. I love to watch Reality TV. Seriously I am so addicted to to it! It doesn't matter what it is, well I refuse to watch "Jersey Shore" but I can sit for hours and watch it. Lucas will come in the room and ask me how I can watch this crap "squawking hens" as he always says, but I love it! It's time where you can zone out and not think. It doesn't require much brain power to follow along with a silly show! It's my "me" time and I love it!
12. I like to think about the year and a half my sister and I lived together! Man was that a fun time in our little lives! A very drunk time in our lives, she's grown up at least, but fun, fun FUN! And dangerous! We got in lots of fights! Man did we get in huge knock down, drag out fights! But besides that it was so fun! We were both single young girls in our early 20's - well single....... she was always on and off with "what's his face" who I hated, and I was always on and off with "what's his face" who she HATED! Alot of times that was the reason for our throw downs! We would always put on "Got to be Real" and dance around our apartment forever. Well we actually started that tradition in our car in front of our gate to Legacy Point, then it occurred to us that we could bring the CD in the apartment. Poor Big, trying to keep up with our moves, remember he has to follow me everywhere, which includes him following the running man! And if you have met Big you know he is not as coordinated as his Mama!
13. I like going to the Ranger game! I love to walk around the top and look out. I like hearing every time "how high up we are and how scary it would be to fall off" and wondering with him if anyone ever has. Lucas is extremely scared of heights I think he only goes up there because I like to. And you know how I mentioned hearing the same stories over and over again- well that is one of those times! Gotta love him! At least it's not the one I have to hear eveytime someone mentions Stevie Ray, that his X-Girlfriends crazy Father used to produce music for the Fabulous Thunder-whatevers. That one gets old. So if you are ever around us, consider yourself warned- don't mention Stevie Ray V. bc once he makes that statement the story ends there, he never has anything else to follow it up with! I always figure he stops talking bc he starts daydreaming about his old girlfriend and how she wasn't as high maintenance as me, so I just like to change the subject really quick! For divorce purposes! JK!
14. I like to laugh and I like making people laugh. I love when I get a tear rolling down my face from laughing. Lucas and I always have to show eachother the tear! We have to point it out to eachother which makes us laugh harder!
15. I like talking on the phone with my The Lady- when she is in a good mood and doesn't have some new fearful illness that she diagnosed herself with on WebMD. Also I don't like to talk to her about a week before she gets her hair done, because then I have to hear all about how one person told her she should do this with her hair, but "Ricky said...." I really don't think my Dad mentions her hair, I think it's in her head. And she gets her hair done about every two weeks I think. Come to think of it there is about two days out of the month I like to talk to my Mom on the phone, after she has gotten her hair done and when she is not "sick" for the day. Just kidding- she is the only person I talk on the phone to, I hate to talk on the phone- I prefer text- but I know she won't text and I wouldn't have it any other way! She can make me laugh so hard!
Well that is all for today, I am praying the rain stops because we are going to the Texas Rangers game tonight. The rain is a “catch 22”. I don't want the game to be rained out, but I don't want to water my plants today either! I'll just make Lucas water them! Special place up there for him someday....... I mean really- could any of y'all put up with me?
